After school internships provide students with a chance to experience the "real world" atmosphere of a place of business, but the opportunity to learn new skills that will be beneficial to them throughout their working careers. These internships are provided by local businesses and are paid and provide students with 2.5 credits. By providing high school students the opportunity to work, local employers are helping to shape their future workforce
